Career Day event was a great success, organized by the Department of Marketing MARLAB and the Career Office of the University of Macedonia with executives from “Porto Carras Grand Resort” on Thursday, March 16, 2017! Several university students and graduates were selected for the 7 day trial program of the hotel complex in order to recruit the most suitable candidates. Good luck to all!

The Head of the Career Office, Ms. Sophia Panagiotidou, welcomed the attendees on Career Day.

MARLAB Director, Associate Professor, Ms. Rodoula Tsiotsou presented data on tourism employment and the skills required by tourism businesses.

Subsequently the Marketing Manager of “Porto Carras Grand Resort”, Mr. Dimitrios Tzioumakas, presented the resort with its hotels, facilities and services.

 

The Director of “Porto Carras”, Ms. Hermione Spyropoulou, welcomed the participants and explained the process of interviews.

Among the representatives of the “Porto Carras Grand Resort” which participated in the interviews was the member of the Board of the hotel complex, Mr. Evangelos Koutroulikos.
